About VCA

The Vizag Caterers Association (VCA) is the unified voice of the catering fraternity in Visakhapatnam. Established in 2022, VCA was founded with a vision to bring together caterers under one platform, promote professional excellence, and strengthen the catering industry across the region.

The association was initiated by Dasaradh Cherukuri (Padma Caterers) and V. Manmadha Gupta (Manikanta Caterers), who recognized the need for a dedicated organization to represent the interests of caterers in Visakhapatnam. Shortly thereafter, A. Ramachandra Rao (RCR Caterers) joined as the third founding member, helping lay the foundation for what has become one of the fastest-growing catering associations in Andhra Pradesh.

The inspiration behind VCA came after the COVID-19 pandemic, when the catering industry faced unprecedented challenges. While several cities across India already had well-established catering associations affiliated with the Federation of All India Caterers (FAC), Visakhapatnam lacked a unified platform. VCA was created to bridge that gap by fostering unity, encouraging collaboration, addressing industry challenges, and representing the collective voice of caterers.

From a humble beginning with just three founding members, VCA has grown into a vibrant community of 300–400 members, including caterers, hospitality professionals, suppliers, and industry partners. The association serves as a common platform where members can exchange knowledge, discuss industry concerns, adopt best practices, explore business opportunities, and build lasting professional relationships.

Today, VCA regularly organizes networking events, seminars, training programs, exhibitions, and annual gatherings that promote innovation, skill development, and business growth within the catering industry.

Our vision is to build one of the strongest and most respected catering associations in Andhra Pradesh, setting new standards for professionalism, collaboration, and excellence while contributing to the growth of the hospitality industry in the region.
